MATSUKO at T-mobile Accelerator Demo Day 2021

After three months of working with T-Mobile leaders, we are happy to announce that we all enjoyed DEMO DAY together. T-Mobile U.S. hosted a T-Mobile Accelerator Virtual Demo Day on June 30th and they specifically handpicked us to be part of it! At the virtual Demo Day event, we saw various 5G innovations in the fields of 3D data storytelling, holographic communications, AR wearables, immersive virtual learning, volumetric video streaming, and many more.

Hologram video calls are here, thanks to @Matsukocompany. This team will ensure you don’t fall flat as they redefine the communication of the future. #holographic #telepresence #futureofwork #CorporateAccel #DemoDay2021

We were happy to get to know other prospective companies we were cooperating with during this programme: Condense Reality (Bristol, UK), Everysight (Haifa, Israel), Flow Immersive (Auburn, California), Kai XR (Oakland, California), Longan Vision Corp. (Hamilton, Canada), Multicasting.io (Phoenix, Arizona) and Prisms of Reality, Inc. (Brooklyn, New York).

We had a chance to meet a lot of inspiring people and discuss our business models and marketing strategies. Besides, we have gained new mentors and coaches and made a big step forward.

T-Mobile Accelerator serves as a hub for driving ideas, innovation and action. Focused on collaborative experiences for growth, it delivers year-round programming and activities, including entrepreneurial and tech community engagements, expert speakers and mentorship sessions. T-Mobile has since been vocal about its desire to help support startups as they build 5G products and services aimed to improve the world. With this, they have launched a number of programs that highlight their advocacy.

Ever since this program was created, it has worked with 67 startups and has raised an aggregate of almost $80 million. 82% of the alumni companies are still in business today.

John Saw, T-Mobile’s EVP of Advanced & Emerging Technologies says:

“5G is blurring the boundary between our physical and virtual worlds to create immersive experiences that better connect us to people and things around the globe. Businesses are finding better ways to collaborate virtually, and consumers are being engaged with new experiences that bring them closer than ever to the products and entertainment they love. I can’t wait to see the innovation that occurs from this talented group of developers that are pioneering the way in immersive 5G technology.”

We are really proud of being part of this program and having a chance to showcase our accomplishments during the DEMO DAY. It was amazing to be a witness of real progress. We met to build immersive experiences that better connect us to our world.

You can watch the DEMO DAY on youtube.

Yours, Stefania
